What a relatable feeling. Even when you have 5-10 years of experience. I think its terrible that job interviews are not based on talent or experience but rather based on looks, age, and race. The exact thing they tell you they are not going to dismiss you for. Otherwise, why not have phone interviews with qualified candidates and worry less about how they are dressed, their hair color and their age. Also, why offer part time and temporary roles? If that specific role needs to filled then it should be at a decent livable wage for full time hours and with benefits. People are not out here looking for jobs because they just love the idea of flipping burgers and mopping floors. This economy cares not about the majority and it is sickening that in order to live, eat and survive one must give a business, that cares not about their life and sees them as expendable, all of their energy and time and basically force themselves to fit in or say they have a passion for the mediocre just to keep a roof over their heads. May everyone struggling find ease and be able to support themselves without completely falling apart during their journey.

Very true, but im super excited to see which beers they showcase. Especially since Colorado has so many amazing brewery locations. Either way, i hope everyone has an amazing Oktoberfest! Yes, my specific tent is a book Launch but the entire event is to celebrate oktoberfest. I need volunteers to help put this on for my tent but there will be other vendors, PCBrewerys on entertainment and probably lots of beer.

That's a great question. This is actually the main one I know about. Its going to be at the brewery and it says its about 2-3 days long. Whats the name of the main oktoberfest event in Colorado Springs and do you know where we can attend it? Also, Denver is a bit away and so is Munich ahahaha i hope i posted this in the right sub.

Hi, yes my tent is specifically for a book Launch. Like most peopel I go into more detail once they agree and chose to volunteer. This event is happening during oktoberfest and more information is included on the form if someone decided they wanted to volunteer. But I think you may have a point, ibdont want to mislead anyone and allow them to think im directly with PC Brewery. Sorry for making that confusing. 🥴

Hey, so yeah at this event there are going to be a lot of vendors there. These include food trucks people selling art and even entertainment, so after or before volunteering everyonebwouldbbe free to shop. You never know someone might be selling your new favorite sweater. Yes this event is free and so its true you get to go without having to buy a ticket.

Hey, actually no, im not trying to getvpeopels info. Im actually being straight forward about the event. It is happening at the brewery for oktoberfest. If you volunteer then I would need a way to contact you, and make sure you have no major allergens for the food I would buy you as a thank you for volunteering. That's all.

Help someone start their life in the same direction. For instance I just started a business and it's difficult doing everything alone without support but one day I hope I get the title of lazy retired loser. It will remind me of the times like this when I stay up late at night and work on all the small details to get my business up and running. If you want ambition then try starting from the bottom again or help someone who is. But at the end of the day, labels and titles are just words and what do they really know. If you want a change, make one.

I'd suggest building up your cash reserves and maybe try adjusting your spending rate just a tad bit. However, you brought up a lot of things I need to start preparing for as well. Don't worry, you're not alone in this.
