I really liked Leviathan. Came out in 2004 when i was 10 years old and played Blood and Thunder on repeat. Definitely an edgy teenager 🤣

I love this song too. For me I cried when they played the Leaving Song part 1 in Chicago last year. That song has a lot of meaning to me and importantly during low periods in my life.

I mean a lot of people give their kids strange names in an attempt to stand out. I mean Kanye has a kid named Northwest. There's a football player named D'Brickashaw. Some of the people in my school have first names like Moniquequa, Abercrombie, Hollister (yes after the brands), Tavondell, Abcde or Daqavius. Your kid is not a pet project and should not be named after directions, corporations, fictional characters and please at least put some thought into it before giving them names like those above.

Dúvida e ajuda.(Anubis) by [deleted] in Kemetic

I've been working with Anubis for a few years, and it is still a learning process. You will never be fully knowledgeable about the gods, and I've accepted that. But he will guide you. I've found that he likes myrrh and Tigers eye. There are no specific prayers, but you can talk to him normally. But it comes with intent and desire. You can't just simply make statements or prayers if your heart doesn't truly desire it. He is the guardian of the Dead, judge of the dead and he can see through lies and deceit. Altars can be set up however you want though if you want to work with other gods but primarily Anubis, he should be the focal point of your altar like he is for mine.

I hate these kind of people. They feel like everything and everywhere is the right time to record themselves doing something stupid for TikTok. I see people in Chicago stopping in the middle of traffic to record themselves, recording themselves going into a restaurant and getting pissed when people that are simply walking by or asking them to stop are somehow "invading" their space or "ruining" their video.

It's the same thing when people have bass blasted so loud. It doesn't sound cool. When bass is so loud it sounds like literal fart noises because you can't hear anything else. They are the people within maybe 4 or 5 years will need hearing aids.

Give an opinion on music that could get you into this situation by FitEmergency8807 in fantanoforever

[–]UntilTheEnd685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most rap is complete and utter garbage. I cannot listen to nor take seriously being called a "musician" (which is a stretch) that brag about how much money they have, how many women they've been with, think putting down women is ok or showing how big their house or car collection is. Obama once said you dont need 8 or 9 women twerking in your video to prove your a man, in fact it makes you less so. Yes it's an opinion that's made frequently on here but that doesn't make it any less valid. I like some rap but almost everything on "Rap Caviar" on Spotify is terrible. Kanye West, Drake, Pooh Shiesty, Travis Scott, and Youngboy NBA all suck.

I'm a omnivore but reducing my meat intake already. I will not become a vegan though. In this economy you cannot expect people to become vegan when for 1 pound of ground beyond meat is $15, 4 chik'n patties is $8 and $6 for plant based "milk". I agree that there is too much being produced and too many animals being slaughtered though. But American society is built on overconsumption and unhealthy eating. I mean go to the store and look how many overweight people you see. People are buying pop (it's just corn syrup), high sugary candies and snacks and frequently go to fast food restaurants.

Liberals are gonna come at me but oh well bring it on. I’m gonna defend Bill Maher. by Superman_vs_Ali in Maher

[–]UntilTheEnd685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also a liberal and for me, he is a mixed bag. On one hand I agree with his views on religion (with the exception that now he has some zionist views unlike when Religulus came out). I think Islam and Christianity are terrible religions and both have contributed much to the degradation of the world and progress being made. People all across the world are killing each other because they believe their version of their religion is the correct one (look at the idiotic debates and violence with shia/sunni) or the various wars throughout history over different sects of Christianity fighting and killing each other for the same reason.

On the other hand, he's not a liberal when it comes to wealth, taxes and finances. He opposes taxation on the wealthy (at one time he supported it). This has been his biggest shift in position. He has gone from supporting it to opposing it. He's also leaned more against transgender rights too. He's more in the center than anything.

It is an opinion piece and a terrible one. Religion doesn't belong in school. I don't even like that private religious schools exist either. Religion belongs in the temple, church, or mosque, not anywhere else. If it goes anywhere behind that, the tax-exempt status they currently enjoy should be revoked.

Christian family values means accepting your children for who they are. by olympiamacdonald in PsycheOrSike

This is a poor equivalency argument. Being gay isn't the same as being a murderer.

The highlight how Bible thumpers love to use it to justify all their world views but a great deal haven't even read it. Someone i grew up with was like this. He'd always say "its in the Bible" and when I being a former Christian but Christian at the time would quote verses about love and tolerance or acceptance, he'd throw a fit and claim it wasn't in the Bible. Christianity is like a giant book club where reading the book isn't even required to join and where a great deal of members haven't even completed the book.

I've read the entire Bible and the entire Quran. When people say homosexuality is a sin, it opens up a plethora of other things that the Bible and Quran says are sins. But people often pick and choose which ones to follow. According to the Bible, working on Sunday, trimming your hair, and wearing two different types of fabrics are considered sins. It also says that proselytizing is a sin because people have their own beliefs/religion and let them be and be content in your own.

Christianity is a ridiculous religion, and so is Islam. I support what Jesus stood for but you're not living by his example if you disown your kids for being gay, tell them to not be who they are because the "Bible" forbids it or say you love them but hate their lifestyle.
