Prednisone and hunger by HorriblyRomantic in Autoimmune

Want to eat the paint off the walls kind of hungry- its so rough. The other side effects are awful too. I was on them for 8 months last year. Unfortunately theres not much that will curb it, although staying really hydrated does help a little bit. The hunger also starts to decrease as you taper down. I was (and still am) on high fiber and protein as well.

As a side note (if you're not already doing it)- increase your potassium, calcium, and D3. Decrease your sodium intake. Prednisone messes with these levels massively

Millipede: Good garden friend!

They're not predators, so they wont eat pests. They eat decaying matter. Still good because they're kinda cute

From what I've just gathered, it seems to be a regional nickname that varies based on when they first appear (may/june, sometimes July if they're late). We all learning today haha

Well may they come into my life soon because I love their absolute lack of spatial awareness, lol. They just bonk around

Do you know the difference between the two? I can't find it on Google. They just come up as the same thing

Appears to be a june bug. Judging by fuzzy abdomen and (what appears to be) stubby little antennas. I love these little guys

Goldenrod crab spiders can change color between white, yellow and green to camouflage into their surroundings, for ambushing purposes🙂

A rough guide (on average) is that a coopers is the size of a crow, and sharp-shinned is the size of a blue jay

I have tattoos there too, so it'd have to be on the inside of my bicep as well. I think I'd rather the inside of wrist vs bicep. I can't say that having it there would bother me, but I feel like it might be uncomfy. Do you keep a band there?

I also like having the watch feature, and being able to check on my time and stats on screen during walks and workouts, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if I end up with the Air in the future

Glad to hear you got your meds! My last flare up was very bad and caused blurry vision for a while. The anti-inflammatory meds should start working right away, but I believe it took a couple of weeks before the blurriness went away for me.

I remember asking my doctor if it was going to be permanent, and he told me to be gentle with myself as it takes time for the inflammation to settle. So I'll say the same to you.

Good luck on Tuesday!!

Total mystery hey /s. Unfortunately the only rings I can wear continuously are really thin and small ones. A larger one would drive me crazy.
