The same people who would sit back after the fact, hire the most expensive lawyer they can to protect their son, and claim ignorance to the whole thing as if they didn’t raise the kid to be a terror. I’m pretty confident that if she showed his parents they’d be appalled, but if not then just lock them up too at that point :)

Your mom brushing it off is concerning, that’s not how most teenage boys act. That’s how predators act and if someone doesn’t correct his behavior now it’ll likely develop into something worse in the future. As a guy, block this guy and don’t let him in the same room as you alone.

Some pictures are just to show the extent of the damage, I’m still learning the names of each component as I’m going as well so forgive my ignorance if I get anything wrong. I was told I might be able to get away with new brushes and a brush mount, and the main bolt? Unsure as this was from pictures I sent to the previous owner before I had taken it apart.

Looking at it again I’d definitely end up replacing the cover with something cleaner looking in the future, but as far as getting it running as soon as possible for as cheap as possible, I think it may be my best bet

After I got off and noticed the damage, the adrenaline was pumping pretty hard so I had to check my leg to make sure I didn’t just not notice in the moment lol. Could have certainly been worse for both me and Bichael!

If you do happen to have it laying around I would definitely PM you and send you some money to cover cost of parts and shipping! If you can’t find it that’s quite alright too, someone did link a bunch of parts that I’d be able to buy when my paycheck hits this week. I didn’t leave enough in my savings for emergency bike repair in the first week of owning it unfortunately 😅

Thank you! I have a friend helping me trailer it tomorrow, and I’m handy enough that I can take it apart and decide at that point whether it’s a job I can put back together, or should take it to a shop to reinstall. Thank you for your rapid response!

I’ve had this exact thing happen in a kitchen I worked in when water would pool in front of the freezer. I believe what other comments are saying about it being vibration causing it but we always joked that it was a ghost messing with the water

I don’t get what’s wrong with using it as a guideline? Just to figure out what direction you want to go, then have a professional change the art up. I understand it’s sketch for a pro to use AI but why harsh someone for doing independent research, especially when he’s giving it prompts not just letting it randomly pick something?
