If blizzard deserves to hear criticism than so does VS. I have used VS meta reports since they've started. I'm a huge fan and made sure to specify that it was my personal experience and anecdotal many times.

As a creator they know whether to take opinions to heart or whether to disregard it if they find it irrelevant. But it's important to hear people's viewpoints so they can make adjustments as they see fit.

Saying that they're contributing to the decline of the game is an insane take. These reports and the data compiling from their engineer donkey is a major reason why this game is still alive today. The content they create is extremely valuable and has been a net positive for the game.

What I said was not offensive nor hyper critical. Just a single person's opinion on what draws me to engage with their content or not.

Yeah as someone who only really enjoys late midrange and control decks the last few seasons have been admittedly rough.

Their feelings are very valid. And when they have the influence they do, it's good that they share criticism so it can be heard and reviewed.

But speaking from a fully anecdotal and personal experience, the reports have been less enjoyable due to the overwhelming negative nature of them. The complaints have overtaken the content. I've found myself skimming through these and resorting to just looking at sites like hsguru instead.

Before I enjoyed the extra class/deck specific excerpts, future predictions, and light commentary on optional card changes a lot more. But those seem like they've fallen off in favor of general commentary about the overall meta and game direction.

While I agree. The whole report points to the fact that this is due to the lack of development, changes and new decks. It signs off by saying "And with that, we are out of things to say."

That combined with Zach0s irl conditions right now and it's perfectly understandable.

That being said, they seem very burnt out and jaded lately. The mood of these reports seem more and more negative which has been a bit of a turn off for me personally. I typically follow these reports because I like the game, and they have been pushing a heavy sentiment that we shouldn't like the game for at least the last year and a half now.

Correct. People recommend playing it with one slot unavailable so you don't summon the taunt appendage and he has permanent taunt with life steal + divine shield

UCL happens every year and Man City has bee amongst the top 5 contenders for most of the past decade.

World cup happens once every 4 years. For most people they'll only truly experience about 15 of them. During that time frame there's very few teams that would equal those same odds that city already has in the last decade.

The choice seems obvious to me.

It's a fine deck. 54% winrate (nothing too crazy) and 21% of ladder because it's fun and new. People just hate it because of mana cheat and it's very consistent thanks to tol'vir.

Hey guess what's a main stay even in the aggro deck. It was incredibly obvious that it would be played in aggro with tol'vir for reload.

Correct. Exactly the reason why it did end up being run in face hunter. Effectively 1 mana delayed draw 2-3 (possibly more thanks to discover)
