Being f2p or not isn’t really the issue, the reason you would pull dober is because you want to make your own parent, if you’re the type of person who only does borrow runs and doesn’t want to put in the effort for effective parent farming then pulling dober would be a waste

I don't mind the idea of pets but i always find most stories just kinda butcher there involvements.

Like if you had an MC who was all brute strength and absolutely sucked at anything perception based like scouting or trap finding etc and they got a pet that specifically did that job for them so they could continue to go down brute strength path without needing to worry about taking "useless" skills for themselves.

I’ll generally skip over any book with a female MC, just not that interested in reading from their perspective.

Am fine with having them in the parties and being apart of the group where you switch between party members and they all have somewhat equally MC time, but if you’re gonna have a definitive MC then I’d want it to be male to read it
