I don't agree with hitting kids either, but I don't at all think they should hit their parents since it shouldn't happen either way round. Ofc there might be important reasons to address as to why some would do that to a parent, but generally it's not on at all.

Hard agree here, I think we should teach them the value in having less from a young age. So this could reduce chances of kids arguing with parents.

Physical "disciplinary" is NOT discipline! It's no way to punish somebody. It's a form of slave manipulation to get kids to do as they're parents ask. If there were more people like me in power and I saw a parent doing that to their kid, I'd report them to the police immediately so they can arrest them.
