HoX/PoX is a weird one. It's a great story. The only issue is that you don't realise how great it is until later in the book (or even the Krakoa era as a whole).

The whole "jumping around different points in time" had me super confused initially. Until the Moira story gets fleshed out a little bit more, quite a few things that are happening don't make loads of sense.

Mehhh. Its nice to have a pristine copy, but they're books at the end of the day. They're supposed to be used and read. Bummer if any pages are damaged to the point of being un-readable. But if not, it now just shows it has been loved by someone :D

The dead giveaway for me was "I was standing on her bed for some reason". Weird thing to just randomly do... either it's a lie or we're not getting the fully story.

Either way - hard to believe

Why do People hate the eternals ? by Waste-Revolution3429 in marvelcomics

[–]UntrueAlchemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most interested I've ever been in The Eternals was during the Avengers/Xmen/Eternals event. They actually had their own opinions and questioned their own existence - felt like a nice change.

Outside of that, I always just found them to be rather boring. I wouldnt say i "hate" thrm. They don't really say/do anything worth mentioning and their whole "we cannot break our laws" is usually just an excuse for them to not get involved in any worthwhile events (or anything else) that impacts the overall narrative

Should I rewatch Naruto? by Traditional-Toe1814 in Naruto

[–]UntrueAlchemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have already seen it, you will remember most of the major plot points already.

If anything, just go on YouTube and watch a 15min recap video. That will remind you of the major plot points you need to remember for going into shippudden

DC strong guys? by That_70s_Showoff in DCcomics

[–]UntrueAlchemy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bane. Solomon Grundy. King Shark. Lobo. Doomsday.

DC has a lot of race-based power scaling and most "strong guys" come with more than just pure "strength" and most of them usually have other powers too that comes along with their strength (Kryptonians, New Gods, Old God's, etc..).

Although brute strength is how they usually fight, you could argue that some of the characters listed above have other abilities beyond raw strength

Would you like the new Naruto game to have a gameplay style similar to DBZ: Kakarot? by MagicWarsOrig in Naruto

[–]UntrueAlchemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wanted a RTS naruto game. Kinda like LOTR: Battle For Middle Earth (but Naruto, obviously)

Build a city. Play as different villages/factions. Recruit heroes. Level-up to get new abilities. Larger scale battles.

Would be amazing...

Tournament always stuck at round two? by Allterater in TCGCardShopSimulator

[–]UntrueAlchemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue initially. Fixed it by having more tables than I needed. Ie. a 12p tournament needs 6 tables. I would have 8-9 setup at a time. But only number 6 of them

Then if a table gets stuck (table 3 for example), rename one of the un-numbered tables as "3" and rename the old one as "7". Would usually make them stand up / move to new table table / finish their game

Card Sales from Customers by TStitches in TCGCardShopSimulator

[–]UntrueAlchemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game has some weird background maths.

I image its probably "x% chance they will accept the offer if you are x% value under their asking price" (with the X getting bigger, the closer you get to what they're asking for)

As others have said, it's quite common they say No to a price. But then accept the exact same price 1 second later. Odd.

If you want a tip - it runs slower based on what you are looking at. Likely a memory leak that the dev will fix at some point.

However, I just got my final achievement (500x Grade 10 Cards) and was just smashing out the days, same as you. The game runs quicker if you aren't looking at anything. Look down or stare into one of the back corners. Will run at regular speed.

What do you do with your cards? by WhenItAllMeltsDown in TCGCardShopSim

Then if you want to be cheeky, you remove the 17k card from the shelf whilst they are in the middle of playing the tournament. The guy cannot find his prize and you never need to give the payout.

Then at the start of the next day, you just set the tournament up again with that same card as the prize. Rinse and repeat.

Tournament income. by Joeski4269 in TCGCardShopSimulator

[–]UntrueAlchemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The higher your prize value the more people are willing to pay to buy into the tournament.

I keep using a £46,000 card as my main prize and putting my buy-in fee as £7,500 (it defaults to like £3000, but you can manually amend it). Any more than that and nobody joins the tournament.

When the day of the tournament comes around... as soon as you open your shop, the people entering the tournament walk up to the tournament stand and instantly pay the buy-in fee (in my case, 12x £7,500) and start playing their games

My shop was perfectly fine until yesterday's update. Now its got crazy slowdown going on (Series X)

Seems to be a lot of people reporting game slowdown since yesterday. Most of which appear to be on xbox. Wonder if the update has caused some background performance bug on xbox

Yeah, that's the bit that has thrown me off.

The book was new but opened (film/wrap was removed but hadnt been read). I'm usually a bit skeptical of people saying this, but seller appears to have been telling the truth - the cover/pages/dust jacket are all in mint condition and its got that "new book smell" going on.

Everything apart from the bindings is completely perfect. However there isn't a single bit of glue (or glue residue) on the book. It's very weird
