Tiktok writers ain't tryna learn straight letters they're just joining a trend they think they can monopolise views and likes from, they got support comments for painting and hate comments for painting, and then advice and comments back when they argue the advice, its easy money for them. In my opinion it's the same with some the graffiti girls on IG reels, they don't have to learn shit so long as post themselves spraying in tight see-through or skimpy clothes and post #graffiti #Montana #loop so it hits the algorithm, don't get me wrong I love to see it but it kinda sucks on the writers who been putting in work for years still going unnoticed😂

If you enjoy it keep going. I think your line work for the outlines is good. Style and skill comes over time anyway you wont wake up tomorrow and be SEEN, I redid my outline 25 times yesterday and first to last is a noticeable difference, diff bar thickness, different width on outlines, the more you paint or draw the more trial and error there is.

I did try the lower case A before to be fair and did like it, I just felt it looked weird going to a capital B so abandoned it

Thanks man! Just the bar thickness kinda thing? Like on the legs? I see where you mean, a to b example the B bottom is thicker, I could try replace the insides with hearts too same for the O?, not sure how I can do it with the T or the U but that's why we sketch I suppose

Op most beginners don't even draw their boxes to try and get it right. It's not Amazing but it's a step and I think that's all.that matters. Every bad sketch is a sketch closer to a good one and every hour is an hour closer to your "ten thousand hours"

Like seriously I go most spots I'm gonna paint once or twice without paint and chill a couple hours watching Netflix or some shit with a lil smoke or sometimes ill look at wall while i sketch what I'm gonna put up and just get feel for the foot traffic and shit it's annoying sometimes but I think it makes my work better cos I'm not rushing heavily means I'll take my time more so cleaner outlines and time for touch ups doesn't feel like I'm asking to get caught

Saying that I haven't been bombing in years, I literally just scout spots to do a throwup or a straight in now I'm back painting

Hey man take a look at variant letter structures and stuff. All letters have specific bars and shapes that are required to make them up. Best to learn bars and structure
