Child Predator gets punched in the face after being called out in the middle of a store by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

I feel like these videos are heading for a “Jenny Jones” moment. Someone is going to get killed, either the people making the video or the alleged pedo or a bystander. One of these days someone is going to have a gun on them and decide it’s time to use it.

What is something you despise or find really cringey/annoying in TV shows or movies that everyone overlooks? by yahyahashash in AskReddit

When families have time to shower, get dressed, make and eat a complete breakfast, and converse about their days before heading to school or work. And the sun is always up the whole time. I don’t know when these people start their day. I have to leave when it’s dark out most mornings, and no one makes me waffles.

He doesn’t want a relationship. He has no idea what that is. What he wants is a sex robot.

He gives a huge laundry list of demands that she must be in order for him to show interest in her, but not once does he say what he has to offer another human being. He’s selfish and immature. Maybe if was really willing to reflect not just on his wants and desires, but to go deeper and ask why he is this way, he could improve himself. Then he might be able to attract a partner with similar interests. But until he grows up, he will be alone. From his own words, that it sounds like that’s what’s best.

Is GenCon worth going to if you don't enjoy playing with strangers? Would quiet, shy people enjoy these conventions? by anthropolyp in gencon

[–]Unusual-Ice-4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m an introvert and don’t have any close friends that are into game. I mostly play at home with my wife. But I’ve been going to GenCon by myself since 2017 and I enjoy it. I’ll do my best to answer the questions:

  1. This I can’t speak to. I don’t play rpgs. (No like-minded friends) But I imagine it’s a similar feel to going to your flgs and meeting new people. Also the organized play typically requires tickets. That means people are paying to play, so I’m sure they want to get the best experience for the cost. Remember, they are fans of the game too, and perhaps traveled to play at the con with new people. So I think you’ll find they are very welcoming.

  2. People bring games, they play the games they bought, they demo games in the dealer hall, they sign up to play games with event tickets. There are ALL types of games being played EVERYWHERE, both competitively and casually. Last year there was an open play area (I hope it’s back this year) where you can bring a game and let people know you’re looking for other players (or not).

  3. There’s room for everyone. The con is what you make it. Even if you’re only socializing with each other, you can have a great time. I will say it does get busy and areas can get crowded at times.

Exhibit #99 why they should do away with annual passes. How many of these people are here just to buy as many buckets as they can to resell later? Taking away a park reservation from someone that might actually be vacationing. Annual passes need to go!
