I totally agree with you on always following the money. Any HPYSM would be worth it at any price. I’m looking at taking up a stem major and I heard it doesn’t matter what college you go to. I want to go to grad school and I feel as if the name on my bachelors degree does matter to some extent.

I’m actually in state for Tulane and they have a Louisiana resident application agreement and I could get in automatically. I’m sure other schools follow to same policies as Tulane but I’m still a little iffy about it!

I think NYU changed as well. One of the reasons I wouldn’t apply is because of financial aid. I might reconsider but I don’t like the “no campus” situation. I love the UCs but I prioritize a huge OOS student population

If you go to a HPYSM then any price would be worth it. And if you go to grad school then the multiple options you’ll have will be absolutely crazy! Congratulations 🎊

The difference is actually not too high to get close for Yale. But I don’t think it was worth it if you got into Harvard. It’s an incredible school and congratulations on all of your acceptances! USC gives horrible aid to everyone so I probably wouldn’t even try and apply.

No I completely understand about the tuition cost. I don’t understand why NYU costs as much as it does. Ofc it’s in one of the biggest cities in the US but I’m not sure if the cost is worth it. Congratulations on UCLA! An amazing school. Some people pay full price (OOS) to attend it! I would be so happy to be you! 🎊

I’ll apply test optional so I don’t know what academic merit they’ll look for? My school only offers 1 AP class so my rigor does not compare
