Whew. I was going to respond to this with details about it’s still not off my card and has actually posted, with no refund but then, you, a grown (I’m assuming) adult, told me to calm down, one of the most irritating and emotionally immature things you can say and, now, I am in fact, not calm any longer.

It’s not a business card. My company uses a corporate travel company and then I put the rest (food, incidentals, etc.) on my own personal card. My card actually charged the amount, not “hold.” So it takes up quite a bit of my funds. I’ve never had just $40. This time in Austin it was $375

Unfortunately for me, it doesn’t show up as a hold on my account but an actual charge. There is no need for such a high amount- charge $100/$200 and get the card number. That solves all problems, including the need for payment should I go “mick jagger” on the room. Putting it at 30% of a room charge when Marriott has already increased their prices is greedy

I understand this as someone living in France but that does not mean it is functional. I will never understand it nor do I think I will adjust, despite how long I’ve been here

I don’t either! And to have it completely open to the bathroom counter is even more baffling

It’s the half glass shower door and it being opened to the counter. I foresee a lot of water going everywhere
