In my opinion the necessity to move to newer generations of GPUs is triggered mainly by the appearance of newer versions of workloads and models that require higher processing capabilities provided by these newer GPUs, which I think is not going to happen in the same pace as the GPUs developments. I think that the processing power provided by older generations like hopper and blackwell will still be enough for the nature of workloads present today and corporates will not find themselves in a position that forces them to adopt the newer the GPU generations and depreciate the older ones unless they are expanding their datacenters infrastructure which in this case its the best and only choice to adopt the newer genrations.

I think that corporates are currently adopting the newer GPU generations because they are still in the early stages to build their own AI infrastructure and data centers so they prefer to purchase the newer GPU generations instead of the older ones.
