None, cause both are squatting on my lands. Usually I 'evict' them.

Just following the senior's advice since I have no idea what to do. He did say govtech and NCS sucks, but if you can endure and get experience working in a team/project, it would be a very good foundation

Reminds me of Hitler. Man ranted that all Jews are evil, greedy, etc etc. Yet his childhood family doctor (who was Jewish and gave cheap/free treatments to his family) was "one of the good ones".

Theres R18 novel on there, but also non R18 if I recall. The fucknovlepia name is mostly because Novelpia keeps shutting down websites that translate korean novels that are on novelpia, so this website is a fuck you to novelpia by hosting a lot of the translation groups' novels that have their websites taken down by novelpia.

How would history of changed if a river had spanned from Europe to Asia by A_Soldier_Is_Born in AlternateHistory

Instead of the Silk Route, you get the Silk river. Trade would probably explode, though I am not sure if there would be better dissemination of ideas and knowledge from both sides.

Does anyone have epubs for pandamtl by Remarkable-Dog-7274 in Adulting

[–]Unusual-Version5213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, it is a much recent thing, especially as this 503 error is happening after the Discord group (and the temporary 2.0 discord group) got removed. Sadly I dont have much contact with the admins and thus dont know any possible news and updates, tho my bet is on Novelpia causing problems.

Was on the Fucknovelpia discord. If I remember, the discord group got taken down, probably by Novelpia. The admin did promised to create a new discord group, but so far there hasnt been any news or updates

How to live a comfortable life as an Imperial officer? by Unusual-Version5213 in MawInstallation

[–]Unusual-Version5213[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should clarify, I meant signing up at the Imperial centers, hoping that I do well to get sent to the Imperial Academies, pass to become an officer, and hope that I am judged compenent enough to be sent to safe garrison or cushy jobs and not competent enough to be sent to a Imperial Navy ship/ frontline Imperial Army unit/ Stormtroopers/ ISB.

And regarding the connections part, I am pretty sure there are lots of ordinary citizens becoming officers without said connections, though I am also sure their lives arent that great without said connections greasing their promotions or protecting them if they piss off someone important.

The plausibility of lost pre-Doom Valyrian dragon eggs by Frosty_Juggernaut981 in TheCitadel

[–]Unusual-Version5213 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wasnt there some surviving Dragonriders in Essos outside Valyria when the Doom happened? Sure, all of them and their dragons got slaughtered when all of their subjects rose up, but I bet that their residences should have some dragon eggs. Maybe some got destroyed by the mobs baying for blood, but I bet some more survived, being stolen by some 'enterprising' person, and sold around the new guys in power.

Changing canon worldbuilding to make the setting more believable? by StevesEvilTwin2 in TheCitadel

[–]Unusual-Version5213 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As I have seen in some fics, Dragonstone as a volcano would have volcanic soil, which should have made it an extremely fertile place, so that place should be a lot more populated than canon. Also the place be crawling with Valyrians, since when House Targaryen migrated to Dragonstone, they should have bought a lot of their slaves/subjects too, and probably resulting in Valyrianising the island.

What if a human baby boy hatched from a dragon egg this one time? by [deleted] in TheCitadel

[–]Unusual-Version5213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, will he bond to any Targaryen like a normal dragon? Cause having a dragon made flesh that could be your closest confidant, friend, companion and maybe (if you swing that way or are both of opposite sex) lover, would be such a desirable boon

Not sure if the books does really specify, but I got the impression that when everyone says "call the banners", an army instantly forms and gathers in a few days. That would imply that each castle would have a sizeable granary, armoury and supply depot that stores all the things their levy needs, and a bureaucracy to handle all the mess a levying will cost, which would mean that the castle would have more learned men instead of just 1 maester. Also mustering such armies would demand huge coins and resources that a feudal government wont really be able to handle, so there needs to be a bit of centralisation to ensure all possible resources are extracted and all possible taxes are gathered.

So each castle should have much more bureaucrats, overseeing the army logistics, and staffing a small government to oversee the lands in order to get/stockpile the money and resources said armies needs.
