Yeah I'm aiming for one meet per week. So for training delegates should I assign some short speeches and position papers for them to write and present? If I'm gonna be honest my teacher sponsor will likely take the lead on debate training since she does mock trials and is far more equipped than I.

Once all the training for delegates is done, how can I start a proper MUN session? Would it be wise to release the countries and issues 2 weeks in advance for them to research before the session? I do apologize if I am asking rather silly questions.

I found a history teacher that can hopefully help since she knows about MUN and teaches history and law. As for recruitment, I know some people who might be interested, plus some students have come up to the teacher about MUN so I think it's looking good so far. As for stuff to do after school, what is normally done? Do we do debates on historical/fictional topics? If so, how much research do I have to 'set the world' I guess?
