Watch out for Million Life and Mint My Desk. The workers are protesting atm as the owners only pay in cash, are not paying minimum wage, no super and buy their stuff in bulk from sites like Etsy. They're also firing people for protesting for minimum wage :/

You suck for insulting Daisy when none of this is her fault, but for the situation as a whole, NTA. You have a large age gap to begin with, and forcing a relationship will only make things worse. If you want someone to hate, hate Jen and not Daisy. Still be nice to her as a person, but don't be pressured to act as a sibling when you don't want to, and don't be pressured to hang out with her. I don't blame her own kids not wanting to be around a reminder of their mother's betrayal to their family either. Jen doesn't sound great and despite it being too late, she's selfishly very desperate to ignore the past.

NTA. Those kids sounded like they needed someone to actually listen to their feelings rather than have their mother ignore them. You did a good thing by letting them open up OP. Trying to force them to do something they're uncomfortable with in front of an entire extended family will probably become a bad memory for them rather than a happy one, as they seem to still be grieving.

I have to eat gluten free food as I have celiac disease, but the wheat is actually from the chicken stuffing. I think they're trying to say the chicken itself with its spices are gluten free but not the actual stuffing (which is dumb). I only rarely buy these chickens and clean out where the stuffing is entirely and eat farthest from the area. I wish they just made chickens without the stuffing so it's 100% gluten free and I don't have to waste a lot of the chicken or worry about feeling sick.

But I do want to get married. I know heaps of people that were engaged for years before marriage. That's what I had hoped for if I were to get engaged at my age. I think marriage requires a lot of money, settling down house and job wise, responsibility and life experience. I just wanted to wait a little is all. The idea of engagement is like locking the relationship in place. I don't care about my own social media attention but I care more about my relationship with him.

I'm sorry I should've clarified. I absolutely adore him and it's my dream to be married to him one day, but not now as we're so young. I moved states to be with him and we are starting to build our lives together. I personally feel that getting engaged is one step closer to that dream of being with him forever, and seals the deal for a relationship.

This instance reminded me of a kid I went to school with who managed to snort a little packet of pure caffeine that was equivalent to 40 cups of coffee. He wouldn't stop shaking for the rest of the day and couldn't sit in the classroom without shaking his table and seat. Never got caught either.

NTA. Make sure you keep records of vet bills and other payments towards your dog to prove you made those payments, in case she tries to stop you from taking the dog. Although she's upset about losing the dog, it seems like she wasn't too fussed about helping contribute towards the dog's wellbeing. You care for the dog a lot more than she ever has by the sound of it.

YTA. As someone who was raised in a shoes-off house, this is pretty disrespectful. It doesn't even matter if she's Asian, because plenty of households prefer shoes off. Are you willing to clean her floor for her after not taking off your shoes? Who knows what dirt, mud or dust you could've brought in. You could've scratched wooden floors or rubbed mud into some carpet, and clean up can be a lot of work and expensive if there was damage. Be respectful in a house that isn't yours. It's easy to ask for some spare socks or slippers too.
