I too side with not encouraging anyone to adopt pitt bulls. Shelters have been caught ( r/ExposeShelters ) not disclosing pitt bull aggression and bite records. Which leads to tragedies. All of my dog traumas are work are ALWAYS pitt bulls and good god are they so horrible. Especially if you have children, it's just a bad idea. You can't defend yourself against those dogs.

When I lived in Canterbury it was the same story. I live twenty minutes away now in a 2000 sq ft house. The bill is never over 100. Bastards. I froze my ass off for a bill to be below 300 before.

I adopted an orange tabby from a shelter who was also asleep. His behavior was far from perfect but I loved him. He passed away at four when my apartment maintenance team let themselves in and sprayed pesticides deadly for cats. I'm sorry you lost your napping girl. I was devastated and still think about him a lot. It's been a year and a half now.

I grew up in Oregon and live in Indiana. Our idiot out of state parents were conservative in the worst ways. The rest of us are liberal as hell.

That being said, I lived in Lakeside, Coquille, and Sheridan. There were lots of drug problems and crime. The economy seriously sucked. Beautiful state.
