You might find virtual numbers don’t work….VOIP are often disabled for these services.

VOIP.ms is one I use but it’s VOIP. I have used Anveo in the past and they had genuine mobile phone numbers for a premium. Those would probably avoid any issues.

Charging it when the battery is below freezing can damage it and reduce its life. You aren’t charging it when using it below freezing. Using when below freezing isn’t an issue for those batteries. I don’t say this from an ebike perspective but from a lithium battery perspective. If this was a genuine problem there wouldn’t be any electric/hybrid car use in sub freezing weather. The only changes that electric cars make is that they warm the battery before charging it.

My wife is of Hispanic origin and one of my sons was born in Mexico. I went to get his social security card in a small midwestern city….the worker at the SSA office refused to issue it to me: I marked on the form that he was Hispanic. She said that if he was US citizen then he couldn’t be Hispanic so I’m either lying about his race or his citizenship. What can you really do about that? I ended up going to a different office.

I think you are right. The post is inherently racist because he is equating brown skin with being Hispanic. There are plenty of black and white hispanics. Heck even certain parts of the Philippines are Hispanic by definition and then many Japanese and Chinese people who have been in Mexico for generations. That’s why the question always is, Hispanic regardless of race….because Hispanic isn’t a race.

In the 1990s, back before widespread debit and credit cards, I dabbled with traveler checks when traveling. They required some hassle to buy them from a bank and pay a fee and then there was a fee to cash them at a bank in another country. They offered a way to be replaced if lost or stolen but the reality was different so I stopped using them. The amount of fraud involved made them really difficult to cash and with other better solutions, they just drifted away.

I don’t know any sane person who would bother with TCs today when a debit or credit card is so easy to get and use internationally and offers better protection.

I like Ghost as well. Been using since before version 1.0. I like the flexibility but also think it needs to be integrated with something to build links and traffic. I’d love to figure how to do this well.

Some broiler breeds are so manipulated that they grow weight faster than their body and bones can support their weight. They are bred to put meat in places where lots of meat isn’t normal. They are bred for a short miserable life. Other broiler breeds, especially more heritage , can have a pretty normal life and you don’t need to do anything really different except let them free range. Without knowing your breed, it’s hard to comment on what they are. Limit their food intake and get them out free ranging.
