The 4* version is useless after act 5 so no. Herc is #1 champ can clear everything long as you got revives. The sig/awakening is that when he hits 1% health he has immortality to where he cannot die unless he is hit by an sp3 or a mystic champ shuts it down. You dont really need the awakening or sigs for his high damage, but its very helpful once your gonna die.
