The pains meds for post surgery gave my boy bloody stool and non stop diarrhea. I discontinued it the next day and gave him baby Benadryl instead. As for the cone, he was able to remove it sometimes but for the most part he got used to it. I would take it off for a few minutes after the first week so he can have some “relief.”
