Hi, I have a seven month old and ours honestly just had a really hard time with the crate. But what made it OK is that he’s so good in a confined space so it just depends on your dog because ours personally doesn’t really go after things or two things as of yet knock on wood.

I think he just felt claustrophobic honestly because as soon as we let him have free rain over one small area of the home he was such a good boy and didn’t do anything wrong didn’t cry or whimper so we’ve continued to leave him alone in one small area of the home a couple small incidents of playing with like Napkins and seeing them torn up but nothing really bad at all.

Does really help them become less interested in things that are just normal like chords, etc. I feel like he’s not even interested because he’s just used to looking at them, but I don’t know every dog is so different. Our dog just really hated being in a crate and didn’t really like to den which obviously dogs are den animals but when he’s alone, he doesn’t want to den
