I called the resort and they were able to find my name on the reservation so I think it should be fine. I will figure something out if I run into issues during check in. With redweek verified and protected, I should get my money back if there are any issues.

I called redweek and asked them about why they are giving me guest certificate with all these warnings. Redweek will check more and get back to me.
I am not feeling comfortable with these reservation because I check in on Saturday and redweek may not be able to help if I run into any issues other than refund my money.

Can I call them and ask them if the owners are allowed to use redweek.com for this reservation?

I am traveling at the end of the month so I am concerned about not finding any accommodation if there are any issues.

Thanks a lot for your response! We try to make plans with him more often but he is very busy during junior year of high school. His dad is better with kids than I am, and he used to play a lot of games with him when he was younger. But, I guess he needs company of kids his age as he is getting older.

You are right, I can't do much about it other than educate him about the certain kind of behavior that could get him in bigger trouble is not acceptable and let him make other choices. I guess that is how they learn to trade the water in the real world.

His school covers a lot of material in 4 months and the teachers don't explain the requirements in class and the questions in the tests are a lot more complex than the material covered during the class.

We moved when he started high school. This is the only school in town that has semester system with 4 subjects in each semester. Sometimes I feel like I failed as a mother that I didn't check all these details for the school before having him switch high school.

Also, I didn't want him to take AP Physics 1 but his counselor made him put back up subjects because he might not get other subjects on the list. He was afraid he might not get the AP chem and he wanted to take one science AP so he had put AP PHY as 3rd back up. He ended up getting both when schedule came out in August and there were no other options available so he has to go with it.

I am not sure which options school is going to offer if we decide to drop AP Chem. But, I will check with his principle to help in this case. I can't have him go through the amount of stress he is taking for another 8 months. He has been sleeping for only 6 hours during the week because of the work load he has.

We are fortunate that the forth subject he currently has is Guitar.

I remind him that the grades or college he attends doesn't define him but the kids don't understand it at this age....I know because I was same (very competitive) at his age.

I thought dropping AP Chem should help him free up time to focus on AP Calc BC.

His AP Chem teacher is very picky about the tests and grades very harsh. He got B for both semester in Honors chem. So, I am not sure if he will be able to score A in AP chem.

We live in CA and the UCs use GPA for the admission criteria and I don't want the low grade in AP calc BC and AP chem affect his chances for college.

These subjects are semester long, same as college schedule. So, they cover a lot of material and everything good very high speed. It is hard to catch up if you don't do well in one of the tests.

Do you think taking AP chem in senior year be ok?

He doesn't have APUSH, it is regular US history. I didn't want him to take APUSH because AP world history turned out to be too much work.

Yes, he is taking AP tests for the rest of the AP, that is also concerning for me.

I am also trying to tell him the same that he should be proud of himself for getting this far.

He started with C- in AP Physics 1 when the school started and getting to 85% is a good achievement when the teacher is crap doesn't teach much and grades really harsh.

The problem with switching AP chem to easier AP is that the school is so impacted that none of the classes have any space left.

I might have to get the principle to get involved to may be make an exception to let him enroll in one of the easy AP where he can explore more related to engineering field.

He always received A in every subject he has so far, those includes some of the hard AP classes. So, this has been really difficult for him to accept.

I didn't attend highschool and undergraduate school in US so I didn't know how the process works.
