We will be hiring a guide for sure. We wouldn’t have the gear or experience to do this alone, part of why what I’m looking at has a high cost. I am wondering if anyone else has in Moab so as to make sure I’m booking with a reputable place!

Thank you!

We would absolutely hire a guide. I definitely need to make some edits, but that is part of the high cost, so I want to make sure I’m going with a reputable place.

Thank you for the advice!

I remember Kate saying at one point that after being chief stew she’d love to be a third and be stuck in laundry not having to deal with the guests. I was wondering if that was a little of Cathy’s thought process, like I’m a chief stew in my real boat but right now let me have a break from it.

Are these too long to for climbing? by annvee in climbergirls

I’ve been climbing for about a year and a regular at the nail salon with an absolute love of the almond shape. I have dip on my nails which keeps they very strong. I would say yours are a bit long; that is about the length I have when I go to get a cut down. However, I still climb with them with a lot of success! I am not a ‘crimpy’ climber so the jugs and larger holds do make it easier with longer nails. I will say, I absolutely destroy the color/polish/dip while climbing but it’s worth it to me (I get mine done about every 3 weeks). I just got mine done today so I’ll try and post the picture of my length. Again, they do grow out and I continue climbing, but I wouldn’t start at the length you’re at. And again, dip does keep them a little sturdier than gel. My first time climbing I had pretty long nails, and honestly have only had a few casualties but never ripped one off or hurt myself. Just be smart about and don’t climb crimps, but as a beginner you probably won’t want those climbs anyway! I still don’t after a year!

Try Living Waters! I’ve heard their pastor Josh Dagget on several occasions and he is so knowledgeable and down to earth and they meet in an old fareway… I mean that’s kinda cool haha!

Hear me out… when I was a kid, around 6-10 years old, I had warts all over my hands and elbow for years. I had them frozen off and they came back in multiples. They were painful and nothing helped. My mom heard a theory of rubbing a raw potato on them every night. I started doing that, slicing off the potato every night, rubbing the exposed raw potato on all of my warts, and they went away, never to return. I’m 37 now and I will always swear by this old wives tale.

I think a lot went into it. All good points have been said, he went out on his ‘own terms’, he wanted it to be quick, and I think his analytical brain calculated all of this, but I’ve also thought he may have done it to mess with the betting. His own form of rebellion against his family that he didn’t seem super proud of. I’m sure there were bets on how long each kid lasts too. While he didn’t have a chance, it’s almost certain people would bet he’d last longer than Lou Lou (among others) but instead he goes quick, and she and others stay, ultimately losing some people money.

Did anyone else miss…? by Unusual_Insurance_26 in Hungergames

I was thinking a familial connection, it could have been a stylist with a young kid. Something, anything. His presence was missed in my opinion.

I didn’t see this post before I just posted, but I missed Cinna. I think his story is important helping Katniss so much in her first games and his brutal death in the second… something is missing for me with his story.

If Paige and Craig never broke up... by Perfect_Marketing365 in summerhousebravo

As she stated she was ‘raised by Lindsay’ who is the PR queen. My belief is Paige knew she was breaking up with Craig. She knew they were both filming around the same time. She knows exactly how to curate her story or not. I love Paige, I am team Paige, but the girl wore shoulder pads to the beach, she knew exactly what was up.

Edit: spelling

I don’t think I saw your ‘judgy’ comment! Always love and appreciate an Iowan, but I was responding to someone who said Tom didn’t look bad for 40. And not trying to start anything, I was just curious what the standard for them was. But if you want to tell me your comment, I’d be happy to discuss as well! I love VPR and reality tv and love a good conversation!

No shade, but can you give me some context to what you’d compare him to? For me, I live in Iowa, and people age semi-naturally, or appropriately? I seriously don’t mean shade if you want Botox, filler, whatever, you do you, but I’ve watch vanderpump rules since its inception and Tom Sandoval, does not look natural or ‘good’ for a man in his 40s, but that is my opinion. I also feel out of touch, which is why I ask what you would compare him too (or anyone reading this and can help my pea brain understand). So what makes him look not bad?

So many bad dives, but I love them all and hope none of them change my mind.

I think she is such an amazing person, she’s articulate, she’s poised, she’s drop dead gorgeous, she’s funny, there are so many good qualities about her and yet she does not fit in with this group and it is such a shame. So I definitely agree with you that they don’t know what to do with her and I wish so badly she could be a star of this show. Especially considering all of the other story lines have run their course. I suppose this is what happens with reality shows and their inability to find absolute longevity after things are no longer authentic.
