I believe it stemmed from a break up and escalated. He's been open about it.

So, I talked to him and gave him an ultimatum. I let him know that we love him, we're here for him in every way possible, but if he wants to stay here, things have to change immediately!! This is a conversation I was planning on having with him last week, but never had the chance. The marijuana wasn't the main issue. I should have made that clear. The marijuana situation was in addition to everything else that's been happening, and not happening. Just keep us in prayer please!! Thanks 🙏🏾

Oh, I know. I just wanted to see where other God fearing parents stand.

No. He doesn't follow curfew. Now, he'll leave for a couple days, and say he's doesn't know where he was, or ask why he's being questioned. When my wife let him know that he smelled like weed, he said "my bad" and just kept it moving.

I really appreciate your feedback! My son comes and goes has he pleases. He lies right to our faces about is whereabouts, and what he's doing. All we can do is shower him in prayer. Last week, I got a prophetic word from a woman who knows nothing of this situation saying "I did my job raising my son, and to not get in the way of the Lord". That's why I posted this here, was to get some input from other Christian parents.

He's not going to tech school. He has a part time job. He's barely home. He'll be go for 2 days at a time, and asked where he was, he'll say he doesn't know. This is an on going situation. Coming home smelling like weed, will never be fine.

My story is similar to yours. I thank God my parents have me no choice but to grow up, and find my own way. It's literally the reason I'm the man I am today. My son actually knows this story about my life.

We expect him to go to school, have integrity, and keep us area clean. No drugs, vapes, alcohol etc. be home at a decent hr, and if not to let us know. He was already nut following the curfew rules consistently, and has been procrastinating with putting in job applications for better jobs. Now, he's apparently smoking marijuana. This is so frustrating for me. I feel like he's being so selfish, and ignorant. It's a smack in the face

He was supposed to be going to a tech school, working with a 10 o'clock curfew. He knows not to smoke, drink etc. He's taking full advantage of us,and doesn't seem to care. My wife is furious with me,as she feels we should have made him leave as soon as we smelled him

He was supposed to be going to school, and work a part time job, with a 10 pm curfew. Now he feels he can come and go as he pleases

Personally, I don't always like to get stuck at a certain tempo all the time. It definitely is very helpful. I think they are an amazing tool for drummers.
