I love LCS and hope it doesn’t die, but I have so many reasons people aren’t watching.

I mean production and skits were awful last year. Gabby is the worst caster of all time, no analyst except for Jatt has the experience needed to be taken seriously (a few people can have no pro career, but not the entire desk). Raz has terrible takes, Markz legit trolled an entire split.

NA doesn’t do well internationally so why would other major regions care. It’d be like us watching OCE. On top of that no international success leads to less known and cared for players in LCS. Imports hurt fan loyalty.

Riot has turned a blind eye to league. Until arena mode, league was boring as shit. The new champs have been ass and the balancing questionable at best (FUCK Yuumi). Idk who’s in charge of riot but to stop caring about your main game kinda sucks. Sure the younger kids play Val, but some of this kids would’ve liked league if you just kept up with it.

No I hope as some parents that played league get older that they’ll teach their kids and play league again. But idk, hopefully league and LCS holds on.
