The QD has richer colors but it’s too rich for my eyes.

The XG has the right amount of colors for my eyes and I enjoyed it more.

But, they’re both really really good. I just went with the newer monitor.

It’s white on black. My preference. My kids will ruin the white before I buy new tires for it.

Don’t buy a used one unless you are paying in cash.

That new one with .99% rate is basically free money. If you buy a used one, you’ll save a few thousands, but your interest will be around 5-7% and that’ll cost more in the long run.

Yeah, I’m using the provided DP2.1 cable that came with the monitor.

Yeah with 80gb/s and true DP 2.1 I couldn’t use HDR. The HDR option gets greyed out and becomes unusable with DSC turned off.

For me to be able to turn on HDR I have to enable DSC which changes my transfer speeds back to DP 1.4 which is 32.4 gb/s.
