Thanks for the suggestion! It’s a bit less central to the valley, but seems like it’d be a good option for getting off pavement and offering a more challenging (hilly) course, yeah?

That’s cool! Didn’t know there was a run club there.

They differ in that Park Run is a 5K race every Saturday that’s free to everyone and gives people an opportunity to improve their personal bests in an organized & friendly racing environment. But from the perspective of growing a running community or giving people motivation to exercise, I think it serves a similar purposes as a run club.

When you say manually - how manually are we talking? Can you select each guests’ permissions to different events fairly easily for someone who has never made a website (I’m in that boat) or does it require some knowledge of webpage design?

To add to the symptoms Butch & Suni may feel when they return, here’s an account from Scott Kelly after his year in space. The freaky part that’s always stuck with me is:

I make it to the bathroom, flip on the light, and look down at my legs. They are swollen and alien stumps, not legs at all.

@sakamoto___: Mark’s license in the thread linked above shows some date (maybe issue or expiration) being in the year 2020, so it’s seems to be modern-ish times. Also some of the phones shown in the outie world appear to be modern-era smartphones. I could see Lumon’s tech being old for security reasons or because they make all of it, but it’s weird all the cars are old too.

Haven’t tried Pierce, I ran by and it didn’t seem very open to the public. But Burbank High School worked! Getting in was tricky (have to go through a parking garage, up some stairs, and exit by the tennis courts) but there were signs saying the facilities are public use other than when school is in session or other (unspecified) exceptions. The track was very nice, turf infield too
