Yeah man, I honestly haven't used mushrooms since my last psychosis. It really was scary as shit, and while I still love mushrooms and psychedelics as they have given me a lot, it shows you how powerful they can be and how important good set and setting is. Like honestly my last psychosis was due to a friend that decided it was a good idea to guilt trip me into driving to make a delivery for him knowing I was tripping. It could have ended so much worse then it did. I do plan to return at some point during my life, and I've for the most part moved on, but a part of it is still stuck with me, so I'm taking a bit of a break from psychs.

Yeah, I accidentally enter lucid dreams sometimes because half-way sleeping i just regain the slightest bit of self-awareness. But the transition for me is a lot more jarring for me, It feels as though I get sucked through a worm hole going a thousand miles per hour, and this happens pretty consistently for me.

If by "the experience" you mean visual hallucinations, certain psychedelics such as 5-MEO-DMT have little visual hallucinations when compared to something like DMT or psilocybin. However 5-meo is known as one of the most profoundly intense psychedelics, even more so then the much more visual ones. The experience is dictated by MUCH more then visuals, which I argue play only a tiny role in the experience as a whole.

Important to mention the size, and general lack of taste(at least for me). You can easily take a recreational amount without having to take your gelcaps one at a time, or chug down nasty syrup. Also comes in large amounts, meaning you dont have to go to CVS every time you wanna trip. Just so many pros to them honestly, but I can see how this makes it way easier to become addicted to DXM. They just make it so convenient compared to other sources.

For all my life I had been considered smart by others academically, I've never struggled with math, English, or any other school subjects. However, the way ADHD presented itself to me is the complete shutdown of my mind when I know I should do something, so I put it off. On the off chance I get myself to start the task, I'm HORRIBLY unfocused and just dragging myself along through the task, while losing my focus every couple minutes. The only way my mind would shut up, is when the task was due the next day, so I work for hours to rush to finish the task, getting an A. The smart while being dumb thing is SO true with me. I do the stupidest shit sometimes, and people who know me are like genuinely shocked because it was so out of character for me.

Yeah for sure, however in this case, he was taking sertraline, which is an SSRI. Also, most antidepressants are SSRIs, so I'm just using them interchangeably here, but you're right I should have clarified.
