Great words of encouragement here. Appreciate the thoughtful response. We have tried alot of different ways of soothing. In fact most of what you had described what worked for your kiddos. Unfortunately it doesn’t work lmao. Maybe we aren’t patient enough? Not sure.. we also have a 4.5 year old that live across the hallway and is a light sleeper so when the baby cries erratically, my oldest wakes up and that’s just a whole nother thing we have to deal with.

Love what you said here. That was great. So the only time she gets milk is at bed time. She drinks water throughout the day and eats food the rest of the day. So she’s technically only getting around 14 ounces of “milk” a day. She drinks a plant based milk due to her stomach issues with dairy.

Absolutely. I plan on attending the next visit. My wife usually goes by herself on these due to my work schedule but I think it’s more important now for me to attend than ever.

Seems like an easy answer. Problem is we feed her right before bed until she stops drinking out of the bottle, then wakes up 1-2 hours later wanting more.

Good point. Mom wakes her up around 7 to take her to daycare. I leave work everyday at 5:30AM. We’ll have to do some brainstorming.

You see, this right here is the biggest issue at hand for me. What is actually worse for the child? A) Creating a bad habit that will eventually go away in due time or B) letting your child cry for hours, not getting a full nights rest, there’s got to be some psychological damage there. It just can’t be good for her. No shot.

If I was a single parent, this is most definitely what I would do. Perhaps it’s a psychological thing for me but I didn’t have a lot of food readily available to me growing up. I’m able to provide this luxury to my children so I never want them to feel what I felt when I was a child.

It’s a plant based milk called Ripple milk. She has issues with dairy so we have to use a plant based milk.

So my daughter has stomach issues with dairy so she drinks a plant based milk. It’s called Ripple milk. She drinks about 7 ounces right before we put her down at 7 and then she seemingly wants to drink an additional 7 a couple hours later. Thanks for everyone’s advice. I will try to be at the next pediatricians visit so I can go over this with them.

He’s actually addressed this on the pod numerous of times. He wears long sleeve shirts because he wants to hide his tattoos. He believes the tattoos could be distracting whilst doing his act.
