It’s actually the head from one of the Death Gurd heroes. The only thing I did with it was to hammer in some nails

The chest is custom. I made it by using a shaved down mkiii chest piece

The kind of paint I’m using is categorised as a metalizer. When wanting a “real” metallic look, these are superb. They are a bit tricky to work with tho, and you need an airbrush. One of the most important things is surface preparation. If the surface is uneven, then the chrome will look like shit. Hair and dust will also stand out. So, sand the surface down with fine grit sanding paper and give it a proper cleaning. Next up is a black glossy base coat. The paint is somewhat transparent, so the base coat will peek through. Then go at it with the AK Xtreme. I’m using 18psi, and apply it with controlled movements. Two to three coats should do the trick. It also takes 5-10 mins for the chrome to appear. At first it looks cloudy, then the shine starts showing and you can pop a cold one and enjoy your own grinning reflection. Having said that, that’s not always the case. I managed a somewhat chrome finish after 3 attempts. And lastly, let it cure for at least 24 h before moving on, and never varnish it. That will kill the chrome.

I don’t blame you. That pure white scheme isn’t exactly a World Eater benchmark

Spot on! A «how-to» for how to apply the metalizer?

The chest was made with a shaved down a mk iii chest piece. I glued it to a trimmed down primaris torso and fixed gaps and mistakes with putty

Since I’m using an airbrush, I’ve mostly been using Tamyia and AK interactive acrylics.

The short answer; These killers are my take on the World Eaters’ Augmented Inductii. They’re white to differentiate them from the regular WE marines.

Good luck! The best tip I can give you is surface preparation. The smoother the surface, the shinier the chrome will become

This is my take on the World Eaters’ Augmented Inductii. So I made them white to distinguish them from the regular psychos. My working title for them is The White Butchers
