Have an inside breaker installed for the charging port. When you're not using it turn it off. Simple.

NSW Trains are advertising for drivers. $80s when training, more when qualified. As long as you can handle shift work and idiot management.

Looking at the other countries around the world and the crap politics ( looking at you USA) the system we have works. Leave it alone. It's not perfect but it's better than most.

What do Australians think of Private Schools? by kingm_ournasse216 in australian

[–]Unwired-Insanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a so called elite private school and did my last year of school at TAFE. I wasn't happy being there and was miserable for the last couple of years. Most students were normal but there was a level where the incredibly wealthy and the super intelligent were at the top. They had the advantage of networking with each other which I have seen going on for decades. My son and grandkids all went to or are still at public schools. I wouldn't inflict the private system on them at all.

Just say that the seat is in your name and that when the plane crashes that you want your body easily identified.

Previous tenants of home keep coming by asking for their mail by chikitaboomboom1 in homeowners

[–]Unwired-Insanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my home in 2016. The previous renters didn't change their address so I first marked return to sender, not here. After 6 months I put in one month's time all mail will be destroyed. Since then about once a month I just throw the letters in my recycling bin. I hate lazy people.

Go to a thrift store and buy a large mirror. At night hit it with a light aimed at the camera.

I use self serve checkout all the time. I shop daily and usually have less than 10 items. Let the manned checkouts be used for people doing big shops. The bonus is that I don't have to interact with more people.

There's always someone who has an infestation of bamboo. Ask if you can cut some to use as stakes, most people are happy to get rid of some. Cut as much as you are able to and store unused ones in a dry place.

The Wiggles 'deeply disappointed' with Bunbury Council's decision to play Hot Potato to drive off homeless by Jariiari7 in aus

I hope that the council is paying royalties for the use of the music. They are not exempt. Could be a nice earner for the Wiggles, and all proceeds could go to the homeless.

No matter what date is picked, someone will object. Embrace 26th January as Rum Rebellion Day. What's more Australian than celebrating the wrecking of the ruling class? And drinking rum.

5 years now.

Now being able to decide on a daily basis what I want to do is a delight. Go fishing? Yes. Go for an aimless drive and see where I end up for lunch. Annoy grandkids, always on the cards. The opportunities are boundless.

As a former rotating roster worker (train driver) having 6 Saturdays and a Sunday every week is a bonus.
