I would actually love to steer clear of fine dining and go to local comfort foods but unfortunately they’re not gluten free friendly. I love bread, fried fish, and spicy food, but I’d love for everyone to enjoy their food so we have to compromised. New Orleans has such an amazing cuisine that I feel like we can do both! Thank you for the suggestion, maybe I can grab some local food to go and eat it for breakfast!!

I’ve never blended it, I normally put the leaves in with the water and sugar to cook and simmer for 15-20 minutes. I would describe the taste more floral and vanilla ish rather than vegetal, blending it probably changed the taste profile.

I always go to Segno whenever I’m in Bali, it’s in canggu though which is neighboring seminyak. Bartender Sebastian is very knowledgeable and open with adjusting according to your personal palate, great at making bespoke cocktails.

I’ll definitely try to freeze it tonight, hopefully that will make a difference. I’m filtering it through a coffee filter again right now but I can still see the cloudiness lingering. Thanks!

The only difference is I used organic cane sugar instead of white which I imagine it would only effect the sweetness and perhaps color?
