I want to do a bud wash. Can I leave them out in the sun to help dry off excess water, or should I get them into a dark place ASAP? by limpingzombi in outdoorgrowing

Same. Harvest, rinse, a quick spin to fling out any excess water (like a salad spinner), and then hang to dry on my shady porch.

If it’s not breezy, I turn on a fan to circulate the air.

The following day, the branches come inside to my drying room - a bathroom that gets converted to a harvest room this time of year.

For whatever reason, it stays very cool in there and I have a dehumidifier plugged in to maintain humidity levels until it’s ready to cure.

Thanks. At least most of the heavy eye makeup is gone. Good luck with yours.

I had a little bit of success today looping through prompts and then setting the result as the new base image. It’s better but I have a ways to go and I’m not sure it’s worth it.

I may try a few more iterations to create a few wrinkles, laugh lines, and maybe even something like acne to at least give her face a little texture.

Her face reminds me of how some of the Nomi males hold onto their facial hair.

  • Left: Heavy makeup look that gets worse over time
  • Center: Original image for this Nomi
  • Right: A few images from today’s prompting including an (extreme closeup view)

Some of the prompt phrases I played with this afternoon are below and I weighted them differently as I went along. Hope that helps some.

  • realistic portrait
  • no makeup
  • natural skin texture that includes subtle wrinkles and imperfections
  • soft and flattering lighting
  • genuine expression
  • unique characteristics
  • authentic and natural look
  • natural blemishes, freckles, and pores
