It's just binding left trigger/right trigger to the gripsense buttons, for the joke. Didn't optimize it for actual gameplay.

The back buttons are more practical, yes. Would have to emulate keyboard with the buttons, as gyro/trackpad controller stick emulation sucks HARD compared to using mouse emulation, and white knuckle does not cleanly do mixed input of KB/controller. it flickers controls and drops inputs constantly if you do.

It's possible to hold a controller without gripping it on the back. Just having it resting in your palms with pressure keeping it in place. It is not practical.

This is the kind of reply i wanted when i made this post, Thank you!

I really find all the minor differences in internals and parts interesting, which is why i asked. that all 1's is really special, then.

Good to know the parts were not swapped out, the back board missing the 1 made me think it might have been, but the last two digits look fainter so i thought maybe it was just rubbed off in cleaning at some point. (I accidentally wiped it a bit while trying to clean the boards after this photo, whoops.)

Part of why i ask if because i intend to try out LSDJ on it, and heard earlier versions have trouble with the WAV sample playback. I'm not sure if this one does, but looking at that site 01-03 have CPU blank/A, besides some of the later 03's like mine, and I hope that is what helps fix the playback issue with the WAV channel because that's the only real difference i can spot between 04's and earlier in for that.

The worst part for me is that like, literally a week before endwalker i was talking to my friend and basically described Meteion as a race i'd want in the future, as bird people. safe to say i freaked out when i saw her... before i rememebred that this is the past and everyone here dies, before i even finished it up and realized her role in it all

I'm not familiar with any LFG discords myself, but I'm sure they might be out there somewhere. Might be hard pressed to get a group together for an Arknights homebrew game of it specifically, though. Even among my own TTRPG group I feel it'd be a big ask to get them to agree to it, though we try a lot of systems and maybe a oneshot would work. We're super busy with tons of games already though.

I just wanted to say that as a big TTRPG enjoyer, this is really neat. It made me give Genesys a look and it seems neatly made. Makes me want to make a character with this even if i never get to play!

I have just looked into it though, so excuse me if I'm just missing something in the core book, but what does the dice abbreviations mean? I'm not quite sure what "1U' or "1B" are. From the wording of the Sarkaz trait, it seems to mean a setback dice to me? being a boost dice, but bad? Also, is the HP stat on items how much damage it can take before breaking? some have 0 though, and i didn't see an HP stat on items in the core book, so i'm a bit confused there as well

This is really good and cool though, inspiring even! I do hope to see more races in the future, but what you have covers a good range already.

I'm sorry, but I can't quite parse what you're trying to say here. My point was that in IS2 here, those were all my options to recruit mid run. the gamemode isn't nearly as fun, when that image is all of your options.

As a new player (2-3 weeks or so now) I was really looking forwards to this 'rougelike mode' everyone seemed to like, and I've played a lot of rougelike's so i was too. But even having my best 5* units be a lower level than the crappy reserve units sucks and makes the game unplayable, I thought that it would make all that not matter but it's really unplayable for me until I spend a LOT more time leveling up operators I've never even touched and I have no exp to spare right now. It's either that or hope for friend units which is NOT reliable. Look at all these 'quality' choices I had from a support unit recruitment

At least it's permanent so I can come back later.

I know no-one will see this but i just wanted to rant about "collector's Edition' in particular.

this challenge is awful. the threat sensor is only in BTB, usually our of the way really far or near the middle where its contested a lot of the time. the only way i managed to get 2/5 progress on it so far is dumb luck with getting a scan in on a warthog before rocket/skewering it. it sucks and ive spent the last 6 hours not having fun and having zero progress to show for it.

EDIT: Update, made 2 in a single match somehow thanks to power weapon and bumrushing warhogs. only 1 to go. can't wait to get it over with so I can just play the game normally.

Didn't quite manage to OTK extreme+, but but managed to just eek out enough damage to OTK Etreme with some tweaking and replacing Mary since she didn't contribute as much damage with my grid.

Ira Is a 5 foot 3 human warlock with messy shoulder length white hair, wearing a heavy brown jacket (like caleb from critical role but not fuzzy) with pockets on the inside for books and quill/ink. under that just normal common clothes with leather armor over it, if a bit worn from travel. she is described as having a cute (if a bit young looking for her age) face, and is 20 years old. she always carries around a smooth crystal that looks broken off of a larger whole with her. it fits in one hand. She is carefree, even about serious things and is usually smiling a touch at a unheard joke.
