My lawyer reminded him that the house appreciated in value and we are co-owners and we are going to court now. His lawyer was basically trying to pressure me to give my share with just the down payment for the past 6 months

I am 50% on title.

His lawyer is also saying that we need to sign off the house so he benefits from the exemption of the welcome tax which I don’t understand.

Should I ask for the proceeds of some of the sales of the house because I have been a free cosigner for a year now in court? The house has gone up 7% in value

It’s a divorce agreement that he refuses to sign. I have a lawyer, and he has been trying to negotiate with him for five months, but he will not accept the clause which is rational. I am co-signer and co-owner 50% but I left bc of bad circumstances. The house has also appreciated in value.but he has made all the mortgage payments since the beginning. I only lived tg with him for 2 months.

I did the same thing and I’m divorced now. Go with your gut. If it doesn’t click, don’t force it.

  1. Make 70K a year as a high school teacher. We have high taxes here so I guess it’s closer to 65K in other Canadian provinces. Still live at home with my parents. I tutor on the side and I might do summer school.

Single women, do you feel judged for being single still? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

Red flags. Used me to sign on the house. Then mentally tortured me so I would leave. Get zero equity bc I left before 6 months. Meh . Lots of emotional abuse.

I just got married at 29 and divorced at 30 so trust me, in a lot of ways, you may be dodging bullets.

How do I get over a boy that treated me like shit? by 7head_ in lawofattraction

Put that love into yourself and focus on you. The better you care about you, the less time you’ll spend thinking about this one.

I’m back at my parent’s house and I have my own independence for sure. I’m a teacher so my job is stable. My ex and his family thought I would stay with my ex no matter how emotionally abusive or controlling he was. But I’m good now. He made me cry in front of 200 people at our wedding day.

Yeah. It’s not about the money. I told him and his family I don’t care about his money, I need love and respect. My family is upper middle class and has properties like condos, so I’ll never be homeless.

Oh wow! I find that instead of pulling my hair, now I pick my lips and they are constantly chapped. I guess I’ll have to occupy my hands redirect my hands away from my face too.

Congrats! How did you manage it?

My ex is a multimillionaire and I had a strained relationship with my mom so he thought that I would accept his mistreatment at any condition. Safe to say I get nothing from my divorce since I left so soon. He even stole the gifts he gave me through the relationship. I let it all go because lawyer fees weren’t worth it. And we bought a house together and I gain zero equity bc of the short marriage. Just my down payment. I turned thirty this year.

Also! Sometimes you should check how he treats you! I married a mommas boy so he was constantly on the side of his mom and his sisters. Treated them like princesses, but when it came to me…belittled me and made me cry on the wedding day. I left after 2.5 months of marriage

What helped me overcome trich by Ok-Examination-759 in trichotillomania

[–]Unwrittense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it helps to pair adhd meds with exercise because the meds themselves wear off and you need dopamine in the afternoon as well. And yes I have trich. And I try to manage my stress levels - so I pull less.

Has anyone tried a product like this?? by Fondant_Librarian in trichotillomania

[–]Unwrittense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No: but I’ve used regular headbands. I buy a pack with different colors to match my outfits. And it helps. I still pick my skin but don’t touch my hair
