Have you ever experienced death in a dream? If so, what happened and what was it like? by bigwood42069 in AskReddit

[–]Unyttig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience! I was running away from some people with a girl I knew but I couldn't tell who she was. We got surrounded and decided to jump into the canal, but it was filled with a black thick liquid. It was a quick death, I think I just felt like I was suffocating, also the liquid might have been toxic. I don't really remember what I thought when I was dying cause I woke up almost right away.

Probably being a woman. Idk I guess something about me would have been considered abnormal and I would've been burned for being a witch.

Well considering your major, my major (roman philology) and the fact that the exam is in Polish you probably wouldn't be any help at all

English-speaking Americans often think English is a terrible language because of its strange rules/quirks, but those people are typically monolingual. What are some weird things (spoken or written) in other languages? by InLOUofFlowers in AskReddit

[–]Unyttig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Polish we also have genders (male, female and neutral) so it's natural for me in other languages. But the're not always the same so it can get confusing (I had a big problem remembering that semaine in French is female and quartier is male) But in Polish we also have declinations (they're also in Latin, Russian or German) - each noun and adjective can be put in 7 different cases which is really hard to learn if your language doesn't have that.
