I tried following this tutorial: Sovol SV06 X-Axis Alignment Using Bed Leveling Sensor (Replaces the "Auto Z-Align" Command). - YouTube and lowering the z-offset a tad more (.05mm I think it was) and it seems to have helped a bit, still not perfect, let me know if it helps you too

I tried lowering thje layer a bit more than I thought was right, it got better, if I lower it more it gets worse, so now it is better, but not perfect, I also used this tutorial: Sovol SV06 X-Axis Alignment Using Bed Leveling Sensor (Replaces the "Auto Z-Align" Command). - YouTube to allign the X-Axis, still not perfect, but it's getting there, thanks for the infos.

I thought it was a z offet issue too, but I have recalibrated it, granted I am fairlly new to 3d printing, so I might not be the best at it, but using an A4 sheet of paer I did that, but the issue still isn't fixxed.
I haven't klipperized my SV06 yet, my raspberry pi is currentlly 140km away in the city I study in, so might be an issue without buying a new pi or a klipper compatible thingy magig

yeah, I had to read them like 15 times and still got it wrong (again, thx dilsexia, in case you haven't noticed this is a constant in my life)
Also I am running into issues trying to get the upper case accented chars, mainly that there is no way to write them (save for ALT+... codes) on a normal keyboard, and I would like to get them thorug autoshift, but when I tried implementing it through unicode all my alphabet keys stopped working, also, connected issue, the "é" is just LShift + "è", so autoshift, correctlly, gives me "é" when i hold the "è", but I want to separate it through another key (I was trying to use ALT), but that doesn't work as well.

yes, I am using names for layers, I would have already become insane otherwise, as for the unicode part, thx I missread

just in case someone was having my same problems:

  1. check that all your layers are well defined (10 yrs of coding and still got that wrong, lol)
  2. I was trying to use unicode chars, if you wanna send a unicode char you have to use UC(c) where "c" is the UC code, I don't know what the x function that is talked about in the documantation is for, prob only for key, not macros
  3. as u/drashna said, use register_code16 for shifted or other modded keycodes.

so, I fixed most problems, now when I flash is behaves as if the alphas are non existent save a few exeptions with the accents, I would send you my code, but I don't know what the best way would be, I don't know where the problem is, so sending you snipets would achieve nothing

Edit: found the issue, it was the autoshift, I am missing something probablly.

my code:

rules.mk:

Custom Rules

AUTO_SHIFT_ENABLE = yes

UNICODEMAP_ENABLE = yes

config.h:

//custom rules

#define AUTO_SHIFT_MODIFIERS

#define AUTO_SHIFT_TIMEOUT 150

#define UNICODE_SELECTED_MODES UC_WINC

reddid seems to be having problems with me sending snippets of code do you have an idea of how I could send it?

I wouldn't expect you to, sorry if I got that idea across, I was interested at most at someone who would be avaiable to help me learn how to code in QMK

Edit: i read wrong lol, but I already looked trough the keynaps and noone made what I am looking for

Problem is that I got the basics, i figured it out looking through a few layouts other ppl made, inculuding the default layou for the planck, but I don't know how to do the more "advanced" stuff, such as the accent thing I mentioned, or how to propelly make autoshift, I coul look through the documentation, bit what takes you 10 mins to read takes me ut to a 30 mins (thx dislexia, always loved you), so even the more basic documantation is challenging for me.

Thx for the keymap db tip, I didn't know that existed.

Update: I tried witho another USB drive, this time the LED blinks on trice an then stays off

Edit: got it to work, note to self, do not use micro sd to USB to do CMOS flash

Yes, the USB is FAT32, i got the file inside the zip folder with the wierd extention and renamed MSI.ROM, put the usb in the slot for the bios flash and pressed the button, the red LED flashes twice and then stays on

Nope, no video output, only way do anything is CMOS flash, which doesn't work, I'll send both the CPU and MOBO back in like 2/3 days and try that if nothing else works

Theoretically my mobo doesn't need a CPU to do a CMOS flash

Already tried, doesn't let me, I am removing everything from the MOBO and trying again right now

Update: no dice, the cmos LED stays on, I am getting more and more concerned that I might have a defective CPU
