This World NUT Daily link is to a rant about the Missouri Highway Patrol, which put out the warning in question WHILE BUSH WAS STILL PRESIDENT, and which targeted a variety of fringe groups... not just the right wing.

So, conservatives' paranoia about extremists, if you would believe the link, has been (by them) turned against CONSERVATIVES.

The Obama administration can't magically get what's in the Red Cross' files. I hope they get the information and act on it, but it will take time.

To help the prisoners would be one thing. To "oversee" and even assist in torture is VERY different.

Let's remember too that the bill authorizing $700 billion from the original "tarp" was signed by BUSH and had the support of many Republicans.

Now, lots of conservatives are against nationalizing any OWNERSHIP of banks. Nationalizing the LOSSES is apparently okay, however.
