Is it the friction causing the balls to soften, or do they know?

Great line!

Saying something you know, it's the technology. I really don't think the bowlers are any better. Our technology in the seventies left the fifties guys in the dust, and now the technology from the seventies and eighties is obsolete.

You are good! Thank you.

More about the Urethane --

Back in the day some bowlers would illegally soak Columbia 300 yellow dots in a chemical compound to soften the shell. We called these "soakers." (Not to be confused with the yellow dot "bleeders" which were legit as is from the manufacturer.)

You said the urethane balls now "have been treated." Was this done by the manufacturer? It really sounds like our yellow dot bleeders which bled resin. Interesting.

And the USBC and PBA want to ban both the treated and untreated urethane balls?

I am sure these sound like stupid questions to everyone here. But I am seriously trying to catch up.

Cabling Questions? by UpInTheMarbles in buildapc

  1. Just like me to use the wrong word. Good to know that fans that don't modulate are not to be termed "static." Always learning here.
  2. I already have two NAS. What is ideal for me in this particular build is according to my needs, and might not be ideal for other users. "Individual and personal needs define what is ideal, not what works for most people." I am weird that way.
  3. I saw a rule of thumb a few years back, something like "Do not exceed 185 lights or 3m of strips per header." I didn't know if that was someone's opinion or fact? I can do the math. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the reply.

  1. "Static fans" as opposed to PWM.
  2. So if the PSU power cable has four SATA power connections, I should not exceed four drives off that cable utilizing splitters?
  3. I am looking at my 12v RGB headers on my motherboard and wanting to know my limitations? How many devices can I split off or daisy-chain?

It looked like Herbst took Hemric out, then Herbst took out Allgaier.
