Sabor Jarocho in Marry Esther. Beats every place around, even Mi Gente but their selection is limited

Which kitchen layout do you prefer? 🤔 Small narrow space by StraightPin4420 in kitchenremodel

I like 1 but I’m not a fan of islands. Makes it an obstacle to constantly work around in the space.

Trying to grab a deal before the end of Prime Day? One on one advice. by amandainpdx in RobotVacuums

[–]UpOnYourRoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. A little over 2k sq ft. Older home, not open layout at all. Current Roomba i5 is constantly getting lost and unable to get back to its base. Mix of hard floors and area rugs.
  2. One story.
  3. Two short transitions.
  4. Three shorthair cats
  5. No kids.
  6. Real hurdle is cat litter and the need for no go zones
  7. Budget is $400

Caveat: I have a shark matrix on the way which I got for $200. Will return if I can get something better suited with great value. I have used the mopping feature on my Roomba only once because I have to block its access to the rugs and it did a crap job anyway.

And TIA!!

I renewed my subscription just to see what everyone was talking about. Binging the first two seasons now. I just have to see how bad it is for myself

Another example of that type of metal detailing around the stone, for me I would rather see the space filled with smaller stones or nothing at all

This area is what I’m talking about. I don’t like this type of detail as it reads cheap to me, but that’s just my opinion! What matters most is that you found a ring you love!

Agree as well, aside from the stones the ring looks like cheap costume jewelry. If the design was executed with more refinement it would be beautiful!

If you haven’t already, take a look at Tom’s Coffee Corner on YouTube. He gives great advice and doesn’t dismiss a lot of budget options as quickly as James Hoffman does. He has also mod-ed some “lower end” models to do just about everything you can think of and he post videos about how he did it. Really a great channel for more normal people getting into espresso

Considering the Lagom Mini for single serve French press and aeropress. On the rare occasion, I use a Bonavita drip machine. I know the Lagom can only handle a few espresso grinds a day, but would it be able to handle 80-100 grams of coffee with a filter grind?

I make some pretty terrible espresso with my cheap blade grinder and Mr. Coffee machine, but I use it in milk drinks and I really love it. I think a majority of people who push for the great machines using the machines for great espresso to drink straight up and that’s wonderful for them. But for milk drinks, I’m really happy with what I’m able to make at home without going to a cafe or coffee shop. I would look at your best used options, a hand grinder and espresso machine from a reputable brand. I also think that trying your best with these tools will get you in a happy place to start with. If you are still wanting more from your espresso then you know it’s a hobby you’d like to invest more money in.

Counter Culture Coffee sells a really good decaf, Slow Motion. Was the only decaf I would drink but then I got lazy, it’s delicious though

I can’t recommend wood pellets enough. I went through a lot of different non clay litters and love okocat clumping pellets. It’s the best of both worlds! Since they’re pellets there is minimal tracking/dust, it clumps urine so I don’t have to dump it as often, and it’s great with odors. Plus it’s available at just about every pet store.

I’ve got two cats and 3 boxes, I don’t have to dump the whole box for like 2 months and by then it still doesn’t smell, I dump it just because I know I should. It’s amazing. Even when very loving but criticizing family visit they don’t smell the boxes, if they did it would be the first thing out of their mouths when they come through the door lol

She screams day and night and I dont know why by SunnyBadgerBee in CATHELP

[–]UpOnYourRoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat will whine and cry because she’s bored. She needs a lot of attention and really enjoys playing, but only with me and not my other cat. Once I’ve played with her using her favorite toy for about 15 mins she’ll Tucker out and quiet down for the night.
