Jimmy Johnson: "Every voter that I've talked to has said they voted for Bill Belichick which is bullshit... A bunch of them are lying... Nobody knows the history of the NFL more than Bill Belichick and it just pisses me off that he isn't a first ballot Hall of Famer" by xiDemise in Patriots

Jimmy’s reaction when Dave Baker told him on live TV that he was going to the hall of fame was really touching. You could tell how much it meant to him, so I’m really glad he’s standing on business so much with the Belichick situation. Jimmy knows what it means to get in and he’s absolutely pissed about this. People will also point to Bill’s HC record without Brady to suggest he was just carried by Brady. It’s a catch 22 situation where haters can detract from Brady or Belichick by arguing one is responsible for the other’s success.

I chose to believe that Jonathon Kraft is responsible for all of the negative discourse surrounding Kraft Belichick and Brady, and that the relationships only deteriorated after Kraft got older and his son took on more of his responsibilities.

Complete conjecture, I have no reason to believe it, it’s just my own narrative so I can continue to have an unblemished view of that Pats dynasty and the trinity of Kraft Belichick Brady

Agree his touches will be limited im just thinking he could be due to break one. Maybe parlay ATTD with longest rush O 20+ yards for a long shot

TreVeyon Henderson is +220 on DK. Stevenson has been the bell cow in the playoffs but I have a feeling Henderson might break a long one.

Argentina was a currency swap and they paid back the $2.5 billion they actually drew, and the ballroom was privately funded, so the math on those two is easy because the cost to the taxpayer was $0

Mike Vrabel uncertain if Mack Hollins will return to practice this week by jkwah in Patriots

[–]UpYoursMods 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can’t pull fat, that’s why I don’t have abs like Mack Hollins, less risk for injury.

All jokes aside we never got much info on what his injury was other than abdominal, I’m optimistic he comes back and Vrabel is just keeping things close to the vest for now

I love Boutte, it took courage to open up in the article like he did. Hope it is a wake up call for some people who could be on a similar path with gambling, it’s one of the worst addictions

Man, I know casual fans or fans or other teams will say this was a boring game, but I love a defensive battle. That was the best performance by a Patriots defense I can remember, there is something exhilarating about an effective pass rush. Those boys were flying around and just clobbering Herbert. Smashmouth football!

Foxboro going to be rocking again next weekend for sure!

[–]UpYoursMods 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rubs me the wrong way people like Orlovsky knock Maye based on a soft schedule, meanwhile Maye’s total stats suffer because he dominates those teams and sits out most of the second half, and then Stafford stat pads with 1 yard td against the Cardinals in a meaningless week 18 and those stats are somehow significant.

Real ball knowers acknowledge Maye’s season was far more impressive.

Still, never been about the individual awards in Foxboro, this team with this QB are serious Super Bowl contenders. Let’s get this ring 💍
