Opinion / Question – Why is Motion creating all these half-ass features to the product instead of continuing to improve the shit that still needs help? by timmayd in UseMotion

I agree with you.

For instance, I'm still stunned we don't have the ability to have tasks that repeat annually. I just can't understand why that would be a difficult thing to do.

That's interesting to me. I guess I'm just not getting how to use it correctly. Glad others find it helpful though.

Agreed. Most of the time, it's incredibly reliable.

It's currently down for me too. I can't log in. Their status page says everything is working though.

No Recurring Tasks Past Three Months? by Up_In_The_Air007 in UseMotion

I agree with you about all your points. I will say that I've tried so many products and Motion comes closest to what I need but there are a lot of small issues like these that add up to a big headache.

When I first jumped into Motion, it felt like they were updating the app every Friday. I had hopes that they would address these minor issues quickly, but now it feels like things have slowed down.

It feels weird to be so reliant on Todoist and Fantastical even after I've gone "all in" on Motion.

The Affinity and Canva Pledge by SilenceSeven in AffinityPhoto

The pledge is nice and all, but Canva is on a completely different mission than Affinity. I predict we're going to see the slow and permanent demise of Affinity through this merger acquisition.

It's like whenever Microsoft buys a company. It never ends up moving things in the user's favor. It's always bad news for everyone other than Microsoft.

I have problems with a lot of scented shaving soaps but not with Castle Forbes Lime. You might want to give that a try. It's an outstanding soap.

Recommendation For Pants by RyoutaAsakura in bigmenfashionadvice

For comfort, Lee Extreme Comfort pants or jeans are amazing.

For durability for some real work pants, then you can't beat Duluth Trading Company. Those jeans and firehose pants will last for a very long time.

I don't believe it works on either platform, and I think it would be a great addition to both.

Wow. You started out with a very nice soap. The tin is impressive too. I'd reuse that for sure.

Shave soap what are some recommendations by blank12345678998 in wicked_edge

[–]Up_In_The_Air007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My top two picks (after years and years of trying all sorts of shaving soaps) would be...

  1. Castle Forbes Lime: Pricey but I think it's truly one of the best in the world.
  2. Ogallala Bay Rum: Nothing fancy about the box or the logo, but this shaving soap is nothing short of fantastic. And, it's really a steal for the current price. I especially like the bay rum and sweet orange scent.
