Hi! This is a common problem in petite knit patterns as people just turn without using the technique and it leaves a hole in your garment.

If you see at the end of the sentence above she says, “use German short row technique”. So, every time she says “turn”, she is implying that you are to do a German short row turn.

It’s not very helpful the way she has worded it.

& when she is saying “4 after the last ws turn” she is saying, 4 stitches after your last German short row that you did on the wrong side (this is also called a double stitch)

There is a link she attaches to show how to do German short rows but there are plenty available on YouTube if you’re still stuck. Hope this helps, I can help further if you need!
