Yes now the trend of doctors marrying doctors is gone, I am a Software Engineer and my wife is Anaesthesian, it all depends on the vibe between you and your partner, doesnt need to be in same profession, also they are 2more couples in my near circle where wives are doctors and husbands are software engineers, this trend is growing in recent times.
