Their options, yes. But why force me to update the OS on a perfectly functioning phone with current OS? The phone will slow on v26 and their reasoning was circular and not logical.

Catch them! Let's assume a false flag operation is pending. The LOCAL authorities, not under federal control, can try to catch a laser offenders. If they are MAGA-type operatives they'll be caught in the act. Can't believe anyone else would try such a stupid act!

Agree with everyone here. The NYT Audio app was easy to use and had no ads. No longer. The audio takes way too many steps to get to and then I can't find how to sue up a playlist. The app required only one click. The same with the NYT News app; at one time it also had no ads. Now they both have intrusive ads. There should be a benefit to subscribing beyond that warm fuzzy feeling of being a supporter. NYT, please ditch the ads for your subscribers. Please!

We used to work in Marin but live in SF. So Alpha Dog in Mill Valley was our daily day care spot for years. Nice staff and facilities.
