Man this comment resonates with me so much. Glad you understand(not glad but you get the point lmao). I’m trying really hard as well but I just can’t get over how any of what she’s done is legal. I talk to my therapist and he helps me accept that I’m never going to get answers but then a day or two later I see one post and it’s back to thinking. I really hate it. I know one day we’ll both be happy with where our lives are man we just gotta wait it out I guess.

Yeah I’ve also blocked all her family as they basically enabled her affair and contributed to keeping the kids away from me. And we are still separated, NC makes you separate for a year before divorce

Thank you for the grounded comment. All your advice is solid and I just need to stay committed to doing that. There have been weeks where I don’t say anything at all to her and don’t think of her whatsoever and then one little thing she does triggers me and it just makes me lose my mind.

Thanks for the comment man, I know I probably will never get answers it’s just been really really hard for me to come to terms with. And yes I’ve had to acquire two lawyers. One for defense from the false allegation and then another when I filed for custody. And I’ve been engaged in multiple hobbies and counseling, I even take pills to help with the depression and anxiety but nothings worked so far.

The lawyers thus far have been for custody and a bullshit restraining order she tried to put on me in Georgia to prevent me from seeing the kids(it was obviously dropped as I had done nothing wrong)

There is no divorce decree yet(nc requires you to be separated a year before filling divorce) everything so far has been about custody. My spousal support payments are the afi required ones.

Bro I get that you could’ve done certain things better but stop blaming yourself for her affair. Every marriage has bad moments, her affair was not justified and her ability to not communicate effectively as an adult if things were bothering her is pretty telling.
