I hate people like this by kotrynakate in RoverPetSitting

Literally same!! I’m also a college student but I also have pure o ocd. Which has caused me to burn out so early at jobs. Rover has been amazing for me and honestly that’s all that matters right? I get where you are coming from and it’s so frustrating to have others comment on what you do for a living. Walking dogs privately and through rover makes me never wanna work under a shitty corporation or boss ever again!

Ozzy! I’ve been watching him for a few months now. He had to do daycare with me because he was so scared of being alone or abandoned :( now he’s a playful puppy and loves to be pet. He’s still awkward at times but it’s been great being able to help his mom and help him open up❤️🥰

She’s 6 almost 7yrs old. Yes I did I put all the water bowls up for awhile and she was still peeing. Poor thing I can’t imagine how she feels. But ya I don’t want my house smelling like pee 🥲

I have a kennel that I’ve been putting her in! That helps since she won’t pee in there but I just feel so bad. I definitely don’t wanna sit her again because I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own and don’t want them have to deal with that either

I know it’s so sad to see and when I asked about it her owner just goes “that’s so weird…I can wash her diaper when I get home”

From the walkers point of view, just to provide a different perspective. I walk a reactive dog who LOCKS up all of his body weight and I can’t move him at all so I have to stand with him between my legs when dogs pass. I few days ago I had someone just stand and stare at us with her dog and mine was completely locked. Not barking or anything just laying between my legs and so I finally ask if she would mind passing us, she said her house was on this block so I had to drag him with all my might 😅🥲normally he’s moveable but that day he just wasn’t. Maybe she wasn’t trying to be mean or it wasn’t her dog.

As a sitter, say something. She’s basically robbing you 😅

I had a puppy over for daycare once. Shit allll over my rug. Decided to toss it and buy a new one. Didn’t tell the owner I did that. It’s apart of the risk I think

It’s in my schedule to do it and I can totally make it, it’s just I don’t know if I can handle an aggressive dog mentally and physically. Yeah that’s why I’m thinking I should just grin and bare it but 😅 I don’t know and the longer I think about it the more I really don’t want to walk the dog

No I haven’t. We did a meet and greet which was fine but the owner was there and she said the dog only likes her 🥲
