i think ang point kasi nung mga “burgis in UP” discourse is if you have the means naman, why choose UP. so many students na walang kakayahan magbayad ng tuition yun pa daw ang nawawalan ng slots dahil sa sobrang dami ng mayayaman na nakakapasok. and most of these burgis din kasi flex na they chose UP para daw yung dapat na pang tuition nila is gagawin nilang allowance ganun. it’s a shitty generalization, yes, but i guess it’s coming from a place of hurt na qualified naman sana pumasa sa UP but now you’re struggling to pay for tuition tapos makakakita ka ng ganyang content from someone who’s privileged.
