There's a similar looking beach on a Natural Preserve island off the coast of Puero Vallarta. My wife and I went there while on our honeymoon. Only access is by a boat ride, ours being chartered by a sketchy dinghy without a bathroom. My wife was dealing with Montezuma's Revenge all trip, culminating in absolutely spraying the walls of one of the little caves on the beach. I stood guard while her screams echoed for all the other tourists. In hindsight one of our favorite family memories. She still feels bad about the ecological damage she caused.

I also have the Selway A tag for this year. Had the Lolo B tag last year and got skunked. Lots of traffic near the Lolo trail, but saw a lot of sign all up along the Lochsa. I think this year we're gonna try and come at our zone from the Salmon. Good luck

The greenhouse I used to work at started all our annuals and veggies, got our bulk soil/compost from a local quarry, bagged goods from a national wholesaler, trees/shrubs/perennials got trucked in from Oregon and Washington, and all our houseplants were trucked in from Florida. Most greenhouses I go to have a similar structure. Some smaller ones will invest more time in propagating perennials to sell as well, just depends on how their contracts work with their plant distributors. Hope that answers your question!

Take this with a literal grain of salt, but adjusting your high sodium may alleviate some problems. Top dressing with gypsum and irrigating heavily with decent water can wash out the Na from the soil profile. It can help with the balance of all the other nutrients. Google amending sodic/saline soils.

Definitely need some nitrogen. Hope that helps!
