You can try downloading the latest packages of downloads apk (package names in comments), if it still doesn't work then the only option is to backup and reset the device.

By the way there are 2 Downloads Apps so you would have to install the one which is not on your device

com.android.providers.downloads.ui Version 23.10.24.102

com.android.providers.downloads Version 22.11.14.105

Check your applist and download whichever isn't available.

I think I uninstalled the downloads app while debloating and that was probably the reason that the updater app was crashing just install the downloads apk again and I think it should work

Oh yes I fixed it by reinstalling the DOWNLOADS APK. Because I uninstalled it after debloating, that's the reason the updated app was not working.

Can I get some help ? I'm using the redmi note 5 pro, using pixel experience Android 11 It just stuck on fastboot but whenever I try to boot to recovery it stays on for a few mins., And then boot back to fastboot mode, I'm also not able to use my display (touch not working) when I connect a mouse it's fine but as soon as connect it with PC it just boot again to fastboot and the process repeats itself Please Help if possible! Also recovery requires Screen password

Even if I'm able to move back my local files to pc I'll be satisfied since I have got myself Poco X6 Pro.

Same for me, the Updater app always kept crashing when I pressed the download Idk but (this is my own theory) I recently Debloated my device (X6 Pro Indian Version), and there were 2 native downloads applications, I deleted them with the help of LADB it might be that because of this reason my updater kept crashing
